Refund & cancellation policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how Dr. Akheel Sexologist Clinic handles refunds, cancellations and reschedules for consultation fees and treatment charges paid to us. By booking a consultation or treatment with us, you agree to the terms below.

2. Consultation fees

• Cancellation more than 24 hours in advance — full refund of the consultation fee, processed within 5–7 working days.
• Cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment — 50% of the fee is refundable. The remaining 50% is retained to cover the reserved doctor time.
• No-show / missed appointment without notice — the consultation fee is non-refundable.
• Reschedule — you may reschedule once free of charge if you inform us at least 4 hours before your slot. Additional reschedules may attract a nominal fee at the clinic’s discretion.

3. Treatment packages (PRP, Shockwave, ED / PE programmes)

• Multi-session packages are refundable on a pro-rata basis — you receive a refund for sessions not yet performed, minus an administrative fee of ₹500 per session already scheduled.
• Any consumables, lab tests, medications or injectables already administered or dispensed are non-refundable.
• To cancel a package, please write to us at appointments@thebestsexologist.com or call 8595987807. Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days of the request being accepted.

4. Medicines & diagnostic tests

Medicines dispensed and lab tests already ordered are non-refundable, as these are procured or performed by third parties for your care.

5. Clinic-side cancellation

If we cancel or reschedule your appointment or session for any reason (doctor unavailability, equipment issues, force majeure), you may choose to:

• Reschedule to another available slot at no extra cost, or
• Receive a full refund of any fees paid for the cancelled session.

6. How refunds are paid

• Refunds are credited to the original mode of payment (card, UPI, net-banking, cash).
• For online payments, refunds typically reflect within 5–10 working days depending on the bank / payment gateway.
• For cash payments, refunds may be issued in cash at the clinic or via UPI/bank transfer with your consent.

7. How to request a refund

We aim to acknowledge every refund request within 1 working day and complete the refund within the timelines above.

8. Non-refundable items

• Consultations that have already been completed.
• Missed appointments where no advance notice was given.
• Medications, injectables or lab tests already dispensed or performed.
• Administrative and processing fees, where applicable.

9. Disputes

We do our best to resolve every refund concern amicably. Any dispute arising from this policy is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
